Settings
Where to find project, organization and account settings, and who can change them.
Settings in My Journey Analytics apply at one of three levels: a project, the organization that owns it, or your own account.
To open them, select Settings (the gear icon) at the bottom of the left-hand navigation. The settings page opens on your current project. Its menu groups every section under Project, Organization and Account, and the search box at the top finds a setting by name.
The three levels
| Level | What it covers | Who can change it |
|---|---|---|
| Project | One website or app: its token and snippet, data capture, privacy, product settings, integrations and access | Depends on your access to the project |
| Organization | Everything shared across your projects: name and logo, members, roles, authentication and security | Mostly organization admins and owners |
| Account | Just you: your profile, password, two-factor authentication, passkeys and display preferences | You |
An organization holds one or more projects. Data and setup, such as dashboards, are kept separate between projects, while members, roles and organization policies apply to all of them.
Project settings
Project settings belong to the project currently selected in the navigation. Switch project first if you want to change a different one.
Commonly used sections:
- General: the project token and ID, and the snippet for your site.
- Customization: the project's name, time zone and filters for internal and test users.
- Privacy: whether visitors' IP addresses are captured.
- Access control: who in the organization can see and edit this project. See Access control.
- Approvals: changes that need sign-off before they go live. See Approvals.
- Danger zone: move the project to another organization, or delete it.

Organization settings
Organization settings apply to every project in the organization.
- General: the organization's name, logo and ID.
- Members: invitations, members and their levels, and organization-wide member policies.
- Roles: groups of members used for access control.
- Authentication: your organization's email domains, SAML single sign-on, SCIM provisioning and Cross App Access. See Authentication domains and single sign-on, SCIM provisioning and Cross App Access.
- Security: public sharing and member visibility.
- Danger zone: delete the organization.

Account settings
Account settings are personal and never affect anyone else. Under Account → Profile you can change your details and password, set up two-factor authentication and add passkeys.
